24 Hours Of Spa: Audi Bounces Back From Lap Down For The Win

The Sainteloc Racing team shocked the 24 Hrs of Spa over the weekend with a P1 finish in the grueling 1 day race around the famous Circuit of Spa-Fracorchamps. Sainteloc Racing was a lap down at one point in the race during the night time due to a cross-threaded wheel, this mishap brought driver Gounon right back into the pits after completing a slow lap to make sure damage was just sustained to the wheel.

The Audi R8 LMS of Sainteloc Racing beat out the M-Sport Bentley of Maxime Soulet, Andy Soucek and Vincent Abril who took P2. The Audi showed its’ strength in the early hours of Sunday morning when it was clear that the Mercedes-AMG GT3 from Auto Sport Promotions would be hit with a penalty for exceeding the maximum stint length.
