Athletes With Insanely Expensive Rides!

Published

on

Robinson Cano – Ferrari 458 Italia

Robbie Cano is a smooth player on the field, but his ride is arguably cooler. This custom Ferrari comes with a gold wet mirror finish that makes it one of a kind.

Antonio Brown – Rolls Royce Wraith

As the number one  wide-receiver in the NFL, Antonio Brown needs a car fit for the best. This custom Rolls Royce has the coolest paint job of any athlete’s car. Before this past season, he bet the car against Brandon Marshall’s Porsche, but he ended up having more receiving yards, so the sparkling Rolls remains in his possession.

Joe Johnson – Ford F-650

You may think that a truck of this size would belong to one of the NBA’s big men. You would be wrong. Sharpshooter Joe Johnson bought this truck, and completely pimped it out for a total cost of over $200,000!

Tom Brady – Audi R8

Brady prefers to fly under the radar, and there isn’t a better way to do this than with an Audi R8. This unassuming sports car packs a V10 engine and has a base price of $162,000. Needless to say, we shouldn’t feel too bad for Tom and his modest ride.

Lionel Messi – Maserati Granturismo

One of the best players in the game, Messi also owns one of the coolest cars. Sure, it only getss 13 miles per gallon in the city, but Messi can probably afford it…

Lebron James – Lamborghini Aventador

The King has owned a lot of cars over the years, but this Nike sponsored Lambo, may be the most unique. The car was inspired by Lebron’s floral pattern sneaks, and it cost approximately $670,000!

Justin Verlander – Mercedes SLS AMG

With only 200 models made in the US, Verlander was definitely fortunate to get on the list. Even if he didn’t get the car, he would still have Kate Upton there to comfort him.

Serena Williams – Bentley Continental GT

As the greatest women’s tennis player ever, this car is actually on the conservative side of what Serena could afford. Still, the 581 horsepower isn’t too shabby.

Henrik Lundqvist – Lamborghini Gallardo

The New York Rangers Goalie is known for his style, and this clearly applies to his taste in cars as well. In 2013, he removed the Lamborghini badge from the back, and replaced it with “Lundqvist,” written in the same font.

Cristiano Ronaldo – Bugatti Chiron

The Bugatti Chiron runs buyers around $2.5 million. Yes, you read that right. As the spokesman for the car, Ronaldo probably got a discount, but still! He will definitely get some return on his investment, since the car is one of the fastest ever made.

Floyd Mayweather – Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita

There is only one Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita in the US, and it belongs to Floyd Mayweather. The Trevita boasts over 1,000 horsepower and a top speed of over 240 m.p.h. Fortunately, the car can be yours, since Floyd recently put the $4.8 million car on the market, due to financial issues.

Odell Beckham Jr. – Mercedes-AMG CLS63

While Odell owns a few pricey rides, this pimped out Mercedes may be the coolest. As you can see, West Coast Customs modified it for him, so we don’t really know the final price tag.

J.R. Smith – Gurkha

Of course J.R. Smith would buy a military vehicle to drive himself to practice. At least it’ll keep him from getting injured, although the $300,000 price-tag seems to be a bit painful.

Yoenis Cespedes – Alfa Romeo 8C

During Spring Training, Cespedes managed to drive a new whip to camp every day. The coolest one had to be this Alfa Romeo, which costs a cool $250,000.

Maria Sharapova – Porsche 911 Cabriolet

Sharapova wasn’t always a Porsche fan, but she fell in love with the cars after becoming the brand ambassador for the company. Maria’s favorite car is her Cabriolet, which would run her about $200,000 if she was actually paying for it.

David Beckham – Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead

Beckham owned this sharp looking ride during his time with the L.A. Galaxy. He ended up only driving it 6,000 miles before putting it on the market, but it still remains the coolest car that he has owned.

Kobe Bryant – Ferrari F430

Throughout his professional career, Bryant has put together a rather impressive car collection. Out of all of his cars though, he seems to be most excited about his Ferrari. Frankly, who can blame him?

Felix Hernandez – Nissan GT-R

King Felix’s Nissan doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the understated look complements the power of the car perfectly. Hernandez has other cars that are more blinged out, but this baby is his favorite.

Derrick Rose – Bentley Mulsanne

Why did Rose leave a $300,000 Bentley in the middle of a parking lot, during a snowstorm? We may never know. However, it shows that Rose is just like all of us, outside of, you know, the Bentley part.

John Cena – Custom Corvette

John Cena is the king of showmanship. Did you really expect anything else from him? The “InCENArator” is a custom car, built on a Corvette chassis. Who knows what it cost, but it’s pretty damn cool.

Reggie Bush – 1967 Ford Shelby Mustang

Over the years, Reggie has put over $800,000 into this car, and it can be yours for only $325,000! This car is a true work of art, and classic muscle cars just don’t get any better than this.

Bubba Watson – Cadillac Lasalle C-Hawk Roadster

The PGA pro is a huge car enthusiast, and his collection includes the actual General Lee Charger, featured in “The Dukes of Hazard.” However, this C-Hawk Roadster may have been his coolest piece, until he auctioned it for charity in 2015. The car fetched $410,000.

Aroldis Chapman – Lamborghini Murcielago

The hard-throwing closer likes to pitch fast on the diamond and drive fast off of it. His record includes a lot of speeding tickets, but that’s understandable when you own a half-a-million dollar Lamborghini.

Brandon Marshall – Porsche 911 GT3

Brandon Marshall lost this car to Antonio Brown in a bet about which receiver would have the highest yardage total. However, Brown let him off the hook by asking him to donate $100,000 to a charity instead. Unfortunately for Marshall, he’s going to have to change the paint job, since he just joined the Giants.

Mario Balotelli – Bentley Continental

Mario made sure to make his Bentley stand out. Frankly, this may be the only camo wrapped Bentley in existence. It’s not exactly the first Bentley color idea that comes to mind…
