China Actually Built The Transit Elevated Bus!

Published

on

Remember a few months ago, China showed off a concept that looked crazy but interesting at the same time? We do, and they actually made the darn thing. The TEB (Transit Elevated Bus) is the first of its kind which allows a bus-like vehicle to ride on a track as other commuter vehicles ride under it.
The TEB saves in travel time because it literally drives directly over traffic to all of its stops. Back in May 2016, this idea was just a model and a concept. The TEB was first proposed during the 19th China Beijing Internation High-Tech Expo.
Since then, here you have a real life prototype.
