Jacob Mason captured this ambulance using a bike lane on Sunday May 29th on G St NW, at 22nd Street. The ambulance drove over the bollard with its siren blaring, and continued down the bike lane moments after a biker with two small children makes it onto the sidewalk.
Mason, a Research and Impact Director at the Institute for Transportation & Development Policy in Washington, DC, frequently uses his social media to call out unsafe practices in city transportation.
