Rivian is recalling almost all of its models in order to secure a loose fastener in the front suspension.
According to documents the company sent to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the recall affects 12,212 electric pickups, vans, and SUVs.
According to a statement from the company, the Amazon-backed electric car maker sent letters to its customers on Friday informing them of the recall.
The company also stressed that it has not yet been made aware of any injuries as a result of the problem.
According to Rivian, there have been seven incidents that might be connected to this problem but no documented injuries.
Customers have been encouraged to contact Rivian if they hear any strange noises or feel any vibrations coming from the front of their vehicles.
