The Florida-based racing operation SpeedSource has shut down and all of their assets will be going to auction. Including a total of 5 race cars and all shop equipment. The shut down has a direct link with Mazda signing Joest Racing earlier in 2017 to continue the Prototype campaign for Mazda into the future. The Sylvain Tremblay-owned team has 20 years under its belt in competitive racing as of 2015 with many championships in the Grand-Am series with Mazda.
