Ferrari SF-18 Rendered Halo Concept
The FIA recently mandated moving into the 2018 Formula 1 Championship that all cars will be equipped with a driver safety halo system to protect the driver from the event of large debris and roll over accidents. There has been multiple concepts and event track tested systems that the FIA has looked into for quite a few years now.
The halo system that has been seen testing during a few free practice sessions throughout the last two years was the winner in the FIA’s book.
