While much is often made out of celebrities and other polarizing figures supporting the current president, we’ve decided to flip the script and focus on the famous people that have shown support for Democratic nominee Joe Biden.
Unless you’re living under a rock, you’re probably aware that most of Hollywood, the majority of athletes and many other prominent influencers are liberal Democrats, but you may be surprised which former Republicans have flipped sides…

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

Joe Biden is actually the first candidate The Rock has ever endorsed, but the former WWE superstar and Hollywood icon decided to make a big statement in 2020.

Actress Vivica A. Fox is widely known for her many roles over the past couple decades, but this campaign season she took on a new one, joining Joe Biden at rallys ahead of the election.

Producer, DJ and half of Major Lazer, Diplo got his fans engaged by hosting a virtual dance party fundraiser in July, which was a part of the Biden Campaign’s “Get Up, Stand Up” initiative.

Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson

Hollywood legend Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson are some of Biden’s biggest donors, and Wilson even donated to Vice Presidential nominee Kamala Harris prior to Biden. You could say this dynamic duo has been in the blue corner for quite a while.

Cat Cora & Nicole Cora Ehrlich

Cat Cora, who’s a renowned celebrity chef, and her partner and producer Nicole Cora Ehrlich joined the Deocratic National Convention After Party to cheer Biden’s nomination, even sharing a recipe for Cat’s “No Malarkey Nachos.”

Jimmy Buffett

Legendary musician and restaurateur Jimmy Buffett joined other huge music names like David Crosby and Sheryl Crow in a virtual fundraiser back in May, which remains consistent with the singer’s campaigning for Democrats across his home state of Florida in 2018.

Broadway performer Billy Porter, who is also FX’s star of Pose has strongly supported the Biden campaign since first appearing at a fundraiser in April, stating the need for a “steady, experienced leader.”

The Hall of Fame Tennis legend already received the Presidential Medal of Freedom back in 2009 and hasn’t looked back, claiming her vote is for an “America where we can live and love authentically, and where every marginalized community is ensured equality.”

Barbra Streisand

The singer and actress has been a Democratic activist for some time now, but Streisand said she “wholeheartedly” supports Biden during these contentious times before there’s “more damage to our democracy.”

Jennifer Hudson

Talented singer Jennifer Hudson even joined Streisand and others as a part of the “Celebration for Change: 100 Days to Go” virtual concert, where she made her message for change elegantly clear.

Anna Wintour

Editor-in-chief at Vogue and fashionista Anna Wintour announced her backing of Biden in an op-ed back in February. She stated his character, honor, and trustworthiness were just some of the significant qualities missing in Washington right now.

Tituss Burgess

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt actor Tituss Burgess has been a proud donor of the Biden campaign, which shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering he took part in Broadway for Obama back in 2008.

Rob Reiner

Rob Reiner is almost as much of a political activist as he is an actor and director, having sided on the liberal side of things for years now. He’s also been outspoken about the current president, stating “it’s time to put differences aside” and unify behind the Democratic nominee.

The EGOT winning singer and songwriter has taken his talents in support of Joe Biden after originally supporting Elizabeth Warren. But now, Legend has performed in numerous fundraisers for the Democratic nominee, in addition to performing alongside Common at the convention.

Tia Carrere is no stranger to the current president, as the actress previously appeared on season 5 of The Celebrity Apprentice. However, now she and 250 other famous Asian Americans have signed a joint endorsement for Vice President Biden.

Redford officially endorsed Biden in an op-ed he published on CNN, where the actor claimed “Biden leads with his heart.” His support included his firm claim that the Vice President exhibits “fierce compassion,” in addition to economic and racial justice.
