The First FORD GT Off The Production Line

Decemeber 17th, 2016 was a huge milestone day at Ford Performance as the first FORD GT’s rolled off the production line in Markham, Ontario.
The First FORD GT off the line will be going to FORD Chairman Bill Ford and the second GT will be heading to the CEO Mark Fields.
The production of the GT is being handled by Canadian motorsport and engineering firm Multimatic. Multimatic has a superior track record and are experts in carbon fiber construction. Very few people know, but Multimatic are the creators of the Aston Martin One-77 and Vulcan cars.
Multimatic will produce roughly 250 cars a year for the FORD GT line and production will continue for about 4 years with a price tag of mid-$400,000s.
