Watch This Race Car Flip Over During IMSA Race
TIMSA This past weekend the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship was held at the Canadian Tire Grand Prix. The No. 31 Cadillac prototype took the overall win as David Ostella flipped his DPi entry in the last minute of the race. The race ended under yellow.
Rain started to pour down in the closing minutes of the race when No. 52 David Ostella was left out to dry with no time to put on rain tires in the final stage of the race. This unfortunately put David and his LMP2 car into the tire barrier and flipping the car on its’ roof. The LMP2 car’s exiting doors were pressed against the ground which made it very challenging for Ostella to exit the car but eventually was out and on his feet with no injuries, thankfully.
