IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship has set their return to racing after having to put all racing on hold after the running of the 2020 Rolex 24 at Daytona in January. IMSA will hit the track again July 4th for a 2 Hour 40 minute race at Daytona International Speedway. The event will be behind closed doors and kick start the new revised schedule.
This July 4th race replaces Watkins Glen International, that event has been moved to the weekend of October 2-4. The teams normally would compete in Canada at the Canandian Tire Motorsport Park but this will be removed from the 2020 schedule.
