Porsche Debuts Gold Livery For Le Mans To Celebrate WEC Title

With the running of the 2019 24 Hours of Le Mans roughly 2 weeks away a few of the factory teams are unveiling their special liveries for the race. Just yesterday Ford debuted their vintage liveries for their stable of Ford GTs that will have their last run at the 24 hours of Le Mans as Ford plans to exit stage left from endurance racing at the end of the 2019 season.

The Porsche #91 and #92 911 RSRs will be featuring a stunning gold stripe to celebrate the teams championship in the World Endurance Championship. The international Porsche racing team locked up the championship this month at the six hour race at Spa. The livery as shown is almost the exact same as it has been but replacing the red stripe with gold.

The WEC Porsche Racing will be accompanied by the two 911 RSRs from the IMSA series that will be featuring the Brumos livery that debuted at the Daytona 24 this year in January. On June 2nd we will get our first look at the 2019 Le Mans field on track for their official test day.
