Tesla’s Model III goes 200+ miles per charge and costs $35,000
Is this the miracle child from Tesla that we have heard about the last two years? From the looks of it, we may be looking at the Tesla Model III from Elon Musk. Tesla possibly will be delivering the III in 2017 but more realistic timeframe is said to be 2018 with a $35,000 price tag and a 200-mile range. Tesla is said to be debuting the Model III at the Geneva Motor Show in March, our only reason we think that is that Tesla has actually never attended the show in the past but this year Tesla Motors Switzerland has a presence.
The Model III will be 20% lighter than the Model S (base $60,000) big brother. The Tesla company has also reported a charging time of 25 minutes for a full charge for the 200-mile range.
