Watch AMAZING NHRA Funny Car Run in Las Vegas
NHRA is labeled as one of the fastest sports in the world for its pure straight line speed that the nitro dragster put down in a quarter mile. With speeds of up to 330mph in 1000ft something is bound to happen. This past weekend in Las Vegas there were quite a few accidents but this one surely tops it.
This past weekend at the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing series, Cruz Pedregon went on one of the wilest rides of his life and most like one of the craziest Funny car tears down the quarter mile ever.
At about 250 mph Pedregon’s NHRA Snap ON Funny car lifts the front end off the ground and wheelies for about half the track only to come back down on the wheels and not hit a wall. The safety and engineering that goes into a dragster is pure astonishing and kept Cruz from being seriously hurt. What a wild ride!
